Dunkard Meeting House 1828

The Blooming Grove Historical Society was founded for the purpose of promoting the appellation and preservation of the heritage of the original Dunkard pioneers who settled the area of Lycoming county known as Blooming Grove and is considered to be of importance and interest not only to the descendants of these pioneers, but in a larger sense to all citizens of Lycoming County who are currently benefiting from a social order which they so strongly influenced by their deep and abiding religious faith and dedication to Christian principles.
